What decides is not strategy, but whether the fundamentals hold when things move fast. Whether the promise to your customers is kept. That is my field of work.
Only those who understand the problem can solve it. My approach starts with listening, testing hypotheses and analysing data to build a reliable picture of the situation. From there comes an aligned plan, ready for execution together with the people who carry it every day. Focused on what truly matters: profitability, cash flow, delivery.
Two kinds of organisation shape my view. Corporations with their international matrix organisations and global programmes: there I internalised how high-performing global operations are built, why they work, and how to shape change. In scale-ups I worked entrepreneurially: building operational capabilities and teams, with lean resources, high pace and direct impact on the bottom line.
Future-ready organisations combine three capabilities: They see early what is coming, because they look, their data is right, and their processes turn insight into action.
